HOW TO

WRITE A GOOD BOOK TALK/RECOMMENDATION:

INCLUDE:
1.Picture of book

2. Title & Author

3. Hook the Reader
Couple of sentences "hooking the reader."  Tell them what it's about but not too much!  Don't spoil the ending.  Tell them just enough to wet their appetite and make them want to read more!

4. You can also include a sentence like, "If you liked insert title of another book or a genre, then you will like this book."  (Example: If you like a good mystery, then you will love this book.  or  If you liked The Hunger Games, then this is the book for you!)

5. If the book is the first in a series, let them know that there are more to come.  Or if the author is well, known, list some other books they  have written.

6.  I liked this book because: list at least 2 reasons (Example: it made me laugh and I could relate to the main character)

7.  Repeat Title & Author (Example: So check out The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins today!)

** Your video should only be 30 second to 1 minute long! Keep it short and simple!
